The Price family envisioned a space that could effortlessly transition from high-energy fun to tranquil relaxation. To achieve this, we designed a classic rectangular pool with a modern twist of dedicated play features. Their desire to facilitate lively in-pool volleyball matches guided our decision to engineer a consistent “play-pool” perfect for games and recreation. For moments of peaceful poolside leisure, we integrated an expansive baja shelf entry. This wide, shallow shelf, provides the ideal spot for lounging in the water on a hot day, for small children to splash safely, or simply to sit and dip your toes in. The combination of these two elements created a truly versatile environment, ensuring the pool was perfectly equipped for both exhilarating family competitions and serene, sun-drenched afternoons.
